You can include User Added songs in EkklesiaSing as long as you verify you own the rights to the lyrics, music, and cover art, or, have permission from the owner of these elements, or, you have appropriate licensing rights to use these in a gathering. Once this is verified, you can add your custom song.
All User Added songs, including the mp3 and metadata, are saved to the users Google Drive. If you wish to add songs in addition to the Music Catalog you will need a Google Drive account (free 15GB data storage).
Because your User Added songs are in a cloud drive, they are accessible from any device in which you have connected the EkklesiaSing app and your Google Drive account.
It is self evident that different assemblies of believers may have differing preferences for musical style. Although Restoration Network Music encourages church fellowships to create their own music in their own style preferences, we also recognize this can be a daunting task. Here is a plan to jump-start your music creation journey.
Since Restoration Network Music has given explicit permission to create covers of all its music, much of the work has been done for you. Use the following simple steps to create your custom songs:
Create a free or paid account in Suno (or other similar AI music creation apps).
Open to edit any Restoration Network Music song in your Library and copy the lyrics.
Open your Suno account and select Custom at the top, paste the lyrics into the Lyrics window. Modify stylistic elements of the lyrics, ie, add or delete call and response lines. Modifications to fit the desired musical style are acceptable.
Detail your preferred musical style and specific details desired in the prompt for Styles. Periodically modify these prompts if the desired musical output is not meeting your expectations.
Use the Advanced Options if you have a preference for vocal gender, “weirdness”, or style influence.
Name your versions, 1Title for first pair of generated songs, 2 Title, for second pair, etc., to help keep track of those you prefer. You may modify the titles with “***” depending on how you rate it.
Keep tweaking Style prompts to fine tune your desired output. Additionally you can insert special prompts in [brackets] in the Lyric window to give specific prompts, add [instrumental] sections, and label parts of the song such as [chorus] or [bridge].
You can modify sections or extend from a selected point in time to change the ending.
Once satisfied with the product, download as an mp3 (or WAV file but you will have to convert to an mp3 for EkklesiaSing).
You can do a free, simple Mastering through app.bakuage.com. Once completed save this file, and do any further editing to the sound file.
Use the “+ Add Song” to add the mp3 to EkklesiaSing, complete the other metadata fields, cover art, etc., update the lyrics to include any minor changes in wording in your cover song.
Present lyrics full-screen through screen mirroring on your device for house church singing or personal use.
